We are the umbrella organization of all exporting sectors in the Central Visayas
region, formally known as The Confederation of Philippine Exporters
Foundation (Cebu) Inc. We are registered as a non-stock, non-profit foundation with
the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 1992.
Objectives
Our key mandate drive us to:
- help develop the export industry in Central Visayas
- provide protection for its members through its advocacy and lobbying work
- provide quality assistance and services to its member-exporters
Sectors
As of the present time, we
represents eight (8) export sectors:
- Electronics
- Furniture
- Fashion
Accessories
- Gifts Toys & Housewares
- Seaweed
- Food
- Garments
- Industrial Goods

Medical Tourism,
Logistics and IT/IT-enabled services are in the process of being included as new service-sectors.
Membership
There are more than 700 exporting
companies in Cebu, based on the Department of Trade and Industry's
(DTI) regional survey in 2005. Around 260 are direct members of
Philexport Cebu and indirectly, about 400, are members of sectoral
organizations under its umbrella since seven (7) sectoral organizations
availed of the membership status.
