State-run Social Security System (SSS) targets to implement next year end-to-end digital application processes to new and existing systems, and enhance electronic payment and service delivery channels in line with its continuous digital transformation efforts.
In a webinar organized by the Employers Confederation of the Philippines, SSS president and chief executive officer Aurora Cruz Ignacio said these initiatives aim to improve service delivery which is one of the corporate objectives of the pension fund.

To improve viability of SSS funds, Ignacio said it will also further enhance online loan application and introduce additional payment facilities such as Mlhuillier, Palawan Express, and Smart Padala.
“We want many partnerships with the local government units, we also want to conduct OPLAN Kasambahay among government workers, (and) we want to cover all workers of the Build, Build, Build program or projects of the government,” she added.
